StillPointe Founder Story

I didn’t create StillPointe to teach leaders how to cope. I created it because I’ve lived the cost of systems that expect us to.

For more than 25 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of trauma, leadership, and behavioral health—first as a clinician and faculty member, then as a senior advisor to

military and healthcare leaders. I’ve led DEI initiatives, trained thousands of professionals in psychological safety and trauma-informed care, and earned recognition for excellence in teaching and service. But despite those achievements, I watched too many brilliant, compassionate people quietly burn out under the weight of broken systems and unspoken expectations.

And I was one of them.

At some point, even the helpers—especially the helpers—need a place to reset. Not a conference. Not a checklist. A truly restorative space to come back to themselves, recalibrate their nervous systems, and reimagine how they lead.

That’s why I founded StillPointe.

Rooted in neuroscience, adult learning theory, and systems transformation, StillPointe retreats are not escapes. They are designed as strategic resets—to help healthcare providers, leaders, and executives move from survival mode to sustainable clarity and influence. We combine science-backed assessments with reflective practice, immersive facilitation, and high-trust environments.

Our goal isn’t to make you tougher. It’s to help you become more whole, more discerning, and more effective—without sacrificing your soul in the process.

Because when leaders heal, systems shift. And that changes everything.
